On any given day, you will find Cole meeting with clients, creating and implementing financial plans, engaging in asset management and serving as a member of our investment committee.
As a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, Cole holds the CFP® certification, one of the most respected financial planning credentials and the recognized standard of excellence in personal financial planning.
Trustworthy and easy to talk to, Cole’s clients feel at ease opening up to him about their personal financial situations, which enables him to address any concerns they have and personalize a financial plan for pursuing the important goals in their lives.
He takes the time to keep clients fully informed so they understand the work we do and know that we are always looking out for their best interest. He meets with clients regularly to help ensure that they have a clear picture of what we are doing and why.
He wants his clients to live the life they want in retirement. This involves having a good understanding of what they can spend so they don’t fall into the trap of overspending and running out of money – or spending too little and missing out on the opportunity to enjoy the money they worked so hard to accumulate.
Cole understands how financial matters affect lives – and in a very personal way. He grew up in a world where money was scarce and where those around him didn’t know how to set themselves up for financial success. His desire to obtain that knowledge drove him to get his degree in finance and use his newly gained knowledge to help others. Being a financial advisor affords him that opportunity.
Cole earned a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Wyoming. He played on the football team during his time there and is still a huge supporter of his alma mater. He and his wife are season ticket holders and spend Saturdays in the fall cheering on the Pokes.
Cole joined Chapel & Collins Personal Wealth Management in 2021. Previously in his career, he was a financial advisor at Blue Federal Credit Union, a financial planner at Purposeful Financial Planning and a financial consultant at AXA Advisors.
When he’s not busy helping his clients, Cole serves as vice president of the parish council for Saints Constantine & Helen Orthodox Christian Church. He is also a board member of the All Saints Foundation and a volunteer for the COMEA Shelter.
Cole is originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and today lives in Wellington, Colorado, with his wife, Nicole, and their dogs, Lily and Marley. In his free time, Cole enjoys golfing, traveling, camping and getting outdoors with his two dogs.
