Brian is dedicated to providing objective financial advice, information and education to help his clients make more confident and well-informed decisions about their future.
His empathy and relatability make clients comfortable about being more open and candid about their lives, which, in turn, helps him get to the heart of the matter regarding their personal financial goals, needs and concerns.
He helps them navigate complex wealth management issues and have a solid financial plan in place for pursuing financial independence. His goal in every interaction is that his clients leave each meeting with a smile and a better understanding of their finances.
As a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, Brian adheres to the CFP Board’s code of ethics for integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism and diligence. He is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® with extensive knowledge in key areas such as company retirement plan distributions, establishment, design, implementation, operation and fiduciary issues.
Brian is also involved in our investment research and securities trading. He holds Series 6, 7, 63 and 66 securities registrations, and is licensed for life, health and long-term care insurance in Colorado.
Brian joined our team in 2017. Previously, he was a financial services consultant with TIAA in Denver. He graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and a concentration in personal financial planning. Earlier in his career, he was a client relationship manager at Summit Wealth Group and a universal banker at First National Bank of Colorado.
Brian is a Colorado native, born and raised in Colorado Springs. Today, he lives in Livermore, Colorado, with his wife, Katie, and their children, Declan and Sophia. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing and camping. He also serves as a volunteer for the Fort Collins chapter of Trout Unlimited, a nonprofit dedicated to conserving, protecting and restoring Colorado’s coldwater fisheries and their watersheds.
